We are delighted that once again we have been invited this year to provide our therapies for another Mencap Outreach Programme. We will be based at Centre 21 in Douglas from w/c 27 July 2015 for approximately three and a half weeks.
The Lightwave Stimulation (LWS) programme is intended to address light processing deficiencies which often correlate with various learning, behavioural, reading and social difficulties. These may have profound effects on physical and emotional well-being.

The Sound Learning Centre recently completed an Outreach Programme at the Baity Montessori Center in Cairo, Egypt, where we provided AIT, LWS as well as Neuro Developmental Assessments & Programmes. This was a long time in the planning but all the hard work put in by everyone is finally showing how worthwhile it was as we have already received positive feedback from a number of people.
The Sound Learning Centre returns to the Isle of Man, to deliver an Outreach Programme, for the ninth time in ten years.
We have been invited to present two workshops at the MK SEND Information Day at The Ridgeway Centre, Featherstone Road, Wolverton, Milton Keynes, MK14 5TH on Saturday 4th February 2017.
Pauline Allen visited Abu Dhabi during January and February 2008 to provide consultations, assessments and reviews. Whilst there she also delivered talks on learning difficulties at "The Club" in Abu Dhabi.

In 2015, The Sound learning Centre was invited to provide sensory assessments followed by Bérard Auditory Integration Training (AIT) and Lightwave Stimulation (LWS) therapies to a group of mainstream students, in a secondary school, in the London Borough of Brent. This article describes the project and some of the results. The article was written for the book 'The Power of Light, Colour and Sound for Health and Wellness' to be published by The International Light Association.
