Directions to The Sound Learning Centre
Location
The Sound Learning Centre is located in a house in a quiet residential area in Palmers Green, North London. The premises are dedicated exclusively to our work and comprise of a client reception area, a waiting room, an assessment room, three spacious treatment rooms and a number of offices. There is an outside patio and garden for clients to use, weather permitting. There is a small kitchen to prepare hot drinks and clients can bring their own vegetarian food if they wish to do so.
The atmosphere and ambiance at the Centre is on purpose kept as homely as possible to ensure clients feel at ease and not in a medical or clinical environment. You will not find staff in white coats at our Centre!

Palmers Green station is serviced by First Capital Connect with connections from the London side from Moorgate, Old Street, Highbury and Islington, King’s Cross and Finsbury Park. From the North there are connections from King’s Lynn, Cambridge, Peterborough, Letchworth, Hitchin, Stevenage and Hertford North. Coming out of the station, turn left and follow the main road to the traffic lights. Cross the road and turn left. At McDonald’s turn right into Lodge Drive. At the next road on the right turn into The Grove. Cross the road and follow the pavement to the next road to the left, which is The Rise. The Centre is just at this intersection on the left. Take the Piccadilly line to Arnos Grove or Southgate (both Zone 4). The Centre is a 20 minutes walk from either station, or you can take a taxi. Alternatively, you can link to the First Capital Connect rail system at Moorgate, Old Street, Highbury and Islington, King’s Cross or Finsbury Park. Palmers Green Station and Palmers Green high street (Green Lanes) are serviced by bus routes 121, 329 and W6. Bus routes 34, 102, 141 and 232 all service the area where Green Lanes intersects with the A406 North Circular Road, a ten minute walk to the Centre. From Palmers Green high street (Green Lanes) turn into Lodge Drive at McDonald’s. At the next road on the right turn into The Grove. Cross the road and follow the pavement to the next road to the left, which is The Rise. The Centre is just at this intersection on the left. See also a detailed bus route map for Palmers Green. Take Junction 24 (Potters Bar), follow the A111 direction south through Cockfosters to Southgate station, turn right onto the A1004. Follow the A1004 by turning left at a set of traffic lights into Aldermans Hill towards Palmers Green. Just past Palmers Green station is a T-junction with traffic lights – turn left into Green Lanes and take the first road to the right at McDonald’s into Lodge Drive. Take the first road to the right into The Grove. The next side road to the left is The Rise and the Centre is just at this intersection on the left. There is free parking in The Grove and The Rise. Alternatively, there is a ‘pay and display’ car park on Lodge Drive behind McDonald’s. Turn north onto the A105 Green Lanes, signposted Palmers Green and Winchmore Hill. Go past the bus garage, go up the hill, through two sets of main traffic lights (1/4 mile). Take the next right turn at McDonald’s into Lodge Drive. Take the first road to the right into The Grove. The next side road to the left is The Rise and the Centre is just at this intersection on the left. There is free parking in The Grove and The Rise.
