The media have shown a great interest in The Sound Learning Centre over the years and on this page we feature a selection of articles in the press, plus details of coverage on radio and television.
The Sound Learning Centre was featured on National BBC Television News on Friday 26 October 2007. See and hear what Pauline Allen has to say about Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).
Read how Andrew Scott aged 10 benefited from Auditory Integration Training (AIT), as written up on The Telegraph website.
The Sound Learning Centre was featured on the 'Inside Out – surprising stories, familiar places' regional current affairs programme on BBC ONE on 19 September 2005. The BBC followed clients from first contact with the Centre, during Sound and Light treatment, right through to the final results. For more information on this programme visit the BBC Inside Out webpage, or the Myomancy ADD/ADHD, Autism and Dyslexia information website.
During October 2004, the Programme 'You and Yours' on BBC Radio 4 featured the six most useful interventions that have been applied in cases of autism. We were featured on Monday 4 October and again specifically on Wednesday 13 October in respect of Auditory Integration Training (AIT). During the programme you can hear an interview with Pauline Allen as well as an 8 year old child and her mother who talk about their experience and the results of treatment. These programmes can be heard and downloaded from the BBC Radio 4 website, down the page under Autism Interventions.
A compilation DVD with video clips of past BBC, ITV, Sky News and Discovery Channel programmes is available on request. Please contact us if you wish to receive a copy.
